Chalet Robaumont

A huge chalet that needs renovation Positive: We'd like to share our honest opinion. There were some things that were good: Location, cozy living room, many bedrooms & bathrooms for a large group, and when the heat was on house was warm. Additionally, we did not know usually chalets are rent from Saturday to Saturday in Courchevel. Given the fact that we needed a place from Friday to Wednesday, we did not have many options. This house was available for our exact dates. Negative: I hope they take the following as constructive feedback. 1- House definitely needs a renovation. Our friend got locked into the tiny toilet, I let the management know and the help came in about 45 minutes. For a claustrophobic person, this would have been a huge deal. Either don't lock any doors or the locks need to be replaced. 2- The heat was not on when we got in. Help came in about 3-4 hours and it took a while for the house to get warm. First night was a challenge to get through. 3- Some pillows and quilts need to be renewed. Linens were clean but when we took them out upon leaving, we saw yellow spots on some pillows and quilts. 4- There were 2 bedrooms in the basement floor that did not get warm at all. 5- Huge snow pile that covered the pathway from the street to the house could be shoveled. It was very difficult to walk on it with so many luggages and skis.

Positive: Excellent location with a stunning mountain view right outside the chalet Negative: The hosts were rude and unprofessional in their communication. They were dishonest about the property and made false accusations regarding damages. They claimed I damaged a chair and scuffed the kitchen, but I didn't even use those areas. The kitchen is 100% clean and the living room was untouched. Their lack of integrity was very disappointing

Positive: Emplacement top, juste a traverser la route et depart ski aux pieds, retour idem, chalet spacieux avec 8chambres 17couchages, nombreuses salle de bain et toilettes grande pièce de vie, belle terrasse, tout ce qu'il faut pour passer de bons moments entre amis. Negative: Chalet toutefois dans son jus, ne vous attendez pas au grand luxe, cuisine beaucoup trop étroite pour être a l aise, un gros poêle cheminée non fonctionnel qui prend la moitié du salon, bac de douches qui ne s évacuent pas super bien...

Outdated and overpriced considering the options in the area, but good location. Positive: Good location. Many rooms and bathrooms. Negative: This property is not worth the price. Basic amenities such as shampoo and toilet paper were missing. The rooms are old, squeaky, and poorly maintained, and cleanliness was lacking. Major renovations are needed before charging such an absurd rate.

A fantastic chalet for an extended family Positive: Chalet has a wonderful location, is roomy and comfortable for a large extended family. The living area is bright with space for everyone. It has a regular family sized fridge with freezer which was very useful. The beds are comfortable, there is an area to store ski and snow equipment. It is ideally set up for small children with some toys and games. There is even a path outside for the children to slide down. Heating can be adjusted individually in each room. There are spices coffees and teas and basic food in the cupboards. Plenty of cupboard space. Negative: The heating in one of the rooms took a couple of days to fix but once it was done the room was warm. The carpets and fittings are a little dated but that was actually more comfortable for us with small children. The lighting could be stronger but once we put on all the lamps it was fine.
